Characteristics

Thermal Coal has a high carbon content, high calorific value and low moisture content.

Applications

The cement industry uses Thermal Coal primarily as a source of heat energy in the clinker production phase where it plays a critical role in firing the rotary kiln. It can also be used for heat generation for manufacturing, drying materials or for providing process heat in various industries.
